In looking at the analytics on our website, some folks actually click on this van build page to see what we’re up to. Unfortunately, we are Still Waiting On Our Van! We ordered it on January 19, 2021. The latest update we have from our dealership is that it will be built in mid-July, so it seems that we’ll be lucky to get it by the end of the summer.
From what we understand, all vehicle production has been dramatically slowed down due to chip shortages around the world. We follow some discussions in the Ford Transit USA Forum – there are many others in the same boat as us! If you have a Transit, it’s a great forum to browse through. There is a lot of great information in there.
